Application Developer Note - Missing DLL

As an application parses the INI files to display VDA selections for a user, the application shall check for the existence of the VDA vendor's DLL file. If the DLL file for a vendor is not present, the VDA shall not appear in the list presented to the user. This has produced problems over the years when uninstall programs did not properly remove their entry from the "APIImplementations"  line.
