Shown is line connection at AdBlue® metering valve
To remove connector (1), do not pull AdBlue® line, rather only directly at connector (1).
Damage may occur otherwise.
Remove
- Remove AdBlue® residue at connector (1) using water.
- Press in locking element (3) and remove connector (1) from connection fitting (2).
If line connections are disconnected within an AdBlue® line,
↓
hold respective counterpart in this connection.
- Check whether locking element (3) has engaged, as shown, in lower position (arrow A).
If locking element (3) is not correctly engaged,
↓
press in locking element (3) and engage.
- Seal connector (1) and connection fitting (2).
For this purpose, use suitable stop plugs from
set of stop plugs.
Installing
- Remove used stop plugs.
- Attach connector (1) to connection fitting (2).
There must under no circumstances be contact with locking element (3) during attachment.
Malfunctions and damage can otherwise arise due to an incorrect locking.
Locking element (3) must engage in upper position (arrow B).
If line connections are connected within an AdBlue® line,

hold respective counterpart in this connection.
- Check line connection for correct locking by gently pulling (≤ 30 N) on connector (1).
If connector (1) is not correctly locked,
↓
determine the cause and perform suitable repair measures.
