The intermediate gears (2) each comprise two gearwheels (4, 5) pre-tensioned against each other.
Removal
- Remove respective screw (1).
- Pry intermediate gear (2) off the crankcase.
For this purpose use suitable tool.
Installation
- Slide intermediate gear (2) into the bore (3).
Until the gearwheel (5) makes contact with the crankshaft gear.
- Install intermediate gear (2).
To do this, tension gearwheel (5) counterclockwise with a suitable tool (6) so that the gearwheels (4, 5) are flush (arrow).
- Tighten bolt (1)
