8	Remove starter (M1) from below
9	Check pinion on the starter (M1) for wear or damage	When reusing the starter (M1). In event of any wear or damage ↓ Replace starter (M1).
10	Check ring gear on drive plate for wear or damage	Rotate engine at center Bolt, crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation.
		Socket wrench bit In event of any wear or damage ↓ Replace drive plate.	Fig 2
