	Remove/install
1	Remove left-hand air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1151MNG
2	Relieve fuel pressure over diagnostic socket		AR07.03-P-1460-01MNG
		Dust protection cap to service connection	*BA07.03-P-1005-01H

3	Release and disconnect electrical connector at left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2)
4	Clean rail in the area of left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2)	Absolute cleanliness is essential when working on the high-pressure fuel circuit. Use only lint-free cleaning cloths Damage will occur otherwise on the high-pressure fuel circuit.
4		Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
5	Cover area around left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2) with suitable rags and carefully slightly release left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2)	Wear oil-resistant, fiber-free gloves lined with rubber.
5		Box wrench attachment, 27 mm	Figure
6	Unscrew left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2) from rail and remove	: Use new left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2), as left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2) is only designed to be screwed on once. Leaks can occur otherwise. Collect exuded fuel using a suitable absorbent rag.
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Read out and erase fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04B
9	Inspect fuel system for leaks		AR07.03-P-1010-04MM
	Risk of accident from Vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure Vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10	Perform an engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leaktightness
