Shift pressure regulating valve
Location
The lubrication pressure regulating valve is located in the shift plate valve body.
Task
The lubrication pressure regulating valve limits the pressure in the torque converter. The lubrication pressure is also used to lubricate and cool the mechanical part of the transmission 722.6.
Function
Surplus oil to the lubrication pressure regulating valve is diverted at the working pressure regulating valve. The lubrication pressure regulated from there is used to supply the transmission lubrication and to supply the torque converter.
