Transmission 722.6 in MODEL 906.111/113/131/133/135/153/155/211/213/231/233/235/253/255/611/613/631/633/635/637/653/655/657/711/713/731/733/735
One of the functions of the shift lock is to lock the selector lever in position "P". The selector lever is locked electronically. The selector lever remains blocked in position "P" when the brake is not operated and the EWM control unit is not supplied with voltage via terminal 87.
As of "terminal 15 ON" the EWM control unit actuates the R/P locking solenoids when the brake pedal is operated and when selector lever position "P" is detected. The R/P locking solenoid enables the selector lever and thus enables a shift out of selector lever position "P".
