Command Valve, Component Description - GF27.60-D-5142H

Location 

A command valve belongs to each shift group. The 1-2/4-5 command valve and 2-3 command valve are installed in the shift plate valve housing. The 3-4 command valve is installed in the shift plate valve body.

Task 

The command valves switch the shift groups from the steady-state phase into the shift phase and back.

Function 

When the end face is depressurized (steady-state phase) the operating pressure is lead to the actuator operated.

If shift valve pressure is applied to the end face of the command valve (shift phase), then the shift pressure is switched through to the engaging element and overlap pressure is switched through to the disengaging actuator.
