General test conditions 

• Check the external condition of the engine, pay attention to leaks and look out for any possible noises when the engine is running.
• The engine oil change interval must not be exceeded. An engine oil and filter change must otherwise be carried out subject to a special charge.

On vehicles fitted with maintenance interval display it is only necessary to change the engine oil if this is indicated.

• Engine oil temperature is between 80 °C and 100 °C.
• Accessories are switched off.

In the event of complaints in the starting or warm-up phase, do not condition the engine to operating temperature, but proceed in a complaint-related manner.

• Coolant level OK
• Engine oil level OK
• Automatic transmission fluid level OK, leaks (visual inspection)
• Tank fill level OK
