TEMPOMAT Limiter Function - GF30.30-D-2010H
MODEL 906.111/113/131/133/135/153/155/211/213/231/233/235/253/255/611/613/631/633/635/637/653/655/657/711/713/731/733/735 with CODE (MS1) Cruise control
Use of the limiter allows a maximum speed above 30 km/h and below the actually achievable maximum speed of the vehicle to be set via the Cruise control switch.
Switch on limiter
Upon pressing the Cruise control switch in the position "Change between Cruise control and limiter" the limiter is actuated. The limiter indicator lamp comes on. The Cruise control is switched off. By moving the cruise control switch in position "Store current or higher speed" or in the position "Store current or lower speed" the current speed is stored. Through acceleration or deceleration any desired speed above 30 km/h can be stored via the Cruise control switch.
The speed can be altered in 2 increments:
- 1 m/h steps
- 10 m/h steps
Increasing in 1 km/h steps
Pulling on the Cruise control switch in the position "Call up last stored speed" the speed will increase in steps of 1 km/h. The speed is stored by releasing the Cruise control switch.
Increasing in 10 km/h steps
Actuating the Cruise control switch in the position "Store current or higher speed" increases the speed by 10 km/h. Actuating the Cruise control switch in the position "Store current or lower speed" decreases the speed by 10 km/h. The new speed limitation is stored by releasing the Cruise control switch.
Display in instrument cluster (A1) Highline
5 to 6 km/h before reaching the speed threshold the speed threshold is faded in on the display (A1p1) of the instrument cluster.
If the speed threshold is exceeded by about 2 to 10 km/h, the speed threshold flashes on the instrument cluster display. If the speed threshold is exceeded by 11 km/h, the indicated speed threshold flashes and a warning signal sounds three times.
Display in instrument cluster Lowline
5 to 6 km/h before reaching the speed threshold the speed threshold is faded in on the display of the instrument cluster.
If the speed threshold is exceeded by about 2 to 10 km/h, the speed threshold flashes (the trip odometer is faded out).
If the speed threshold is exceeded by about 11 km/h the speed threshold flashes (the trip odometer is faded out) and a warning tone sounds.
Winter tire limiter instrument cluster Highline
The winter tire limiter for vehicle with code (CL4) Multifunction steering wheel with trip computer can be actuated over the steering wheel shift buttons and STAR DIAGNOSIS. The speed limit can be set to a value from 100 km/h and stored. 5 to 6 km/h before reaching the speed threshold the speed threshold is faded in on the display of the instrument cluster. If the speed threshold is exceeded by about 2 to 10 km/h, the indicated speed threshold flashes on the instrument cluster display.
If the speed threshold is exceeded by 11 km/h, the indicated speed threshold flashes and a warning signal sounds three times.
Winter tire limiter instrument cluster Lowline
The winter tire limiter for vehicle without code (CL4) Multifunction steering wheel with trip computer can be actuated without steering wheel shift buttons over STAR DIAGNOSIS. The speed limit can be set to from 100 km/h and stored. 5 to 6 km/h before reaching the speed threshold the speed threshold is faded in on the display of the instrument cluster. If the speed threshold is exceeded by about 2 to 10 km/h, the indicated speed flashes (the trip odometer is faded out). If the speed threshold is exceeded by about 11 km/h the speed threshold flashes (the trip odometer is faded out) and a warning tone sounds.
The winter tire limiter can already be preset when at a standstill for a running engine. The preset speed cannot be exceeded. The maximum speed which depends on the model can only be reached again when the winter tire limiter is disabled. Deactivation occurs using STAR DIAGNOSIS, for vehicles with code (CL4) Multifunction steering wheel with trip computer and steering wheel shift buttons deactivation is also possible over the steering wheel shift buttons.
If the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) fails then no winter tire limiter function is possible.
