Test 21: Left Front Power Window Switch Open Function Circuit (Open Function)

However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Using Adapter (140 589 12 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to combination control module. See Figure. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect combination control module connector "A". See Figure. Measure resistance between terminals No. 39 and 77 at breakout box. With switch at rest position, 20,000 ohms should exist. Press and hold switch to OPEN position (first detent). About 750 ohms should exist. Press switch to OPEN position (second detent). Less than 10 ohms should exist. If resistance is not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, check left front power window switch. Repair or replace as necessary.
