Test 31: Switchover Solenoid Valve Internal Resistance

  1. Using Adapter (202 589 03 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to traction control module. See Figure, Figure or Figure. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect traction control module, leaving wiring harness connected to breakout box.
  2. On models equipped with Bosch units, check resistance between terminals No. 62 and 80 at breakout box. On models equipped with Teves units, check resistance between terminals No. 65 and 71 at breakout box. If 5.4-12.6 ohms exists, system is okay at this time. If 5.4-12.6 ohms does not exist, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, replace hydraulic unit.
