Intake Manifold Absolute Pressure

Intake manifold pressure conditions are detected by the pressure sensor in EZL/AKR ignition control unit. EZL/AKR ignition control unit pressure sensor conditions are transmitted to LH control unit through Controller Area Network (CAN). Intake manifold pressure conditions are required by LH control unit during engine cranking up to 600 RPM, and for fixed operating mode for entire engine speed range if hot-wire air mass sensor fails.
