| Design/function | The malfunction indicator lamp is supplied with voltage by circuit 15. The ME-SFI control module actuates the lamp by connecting it to GND. The malfunction indicator lamp (A1e43) should come on when the ignition is switched on and go out when the engine is running. If it does not go out, there is a fault at the electronic accelerator pedal. The system is in the emergency running mode (read HHT fault memory). |
