Idle Speed & Full Load Recognition

Idle and full load engine conditions are detected by a potentiometer in the electronic accelerator actuator or cruise control/idle speed control actuator. Potentiometer signals are transmitted to LH control unit through Controller Area Network (CAN). The idle speed signal is transmitted by an additional wire to the LH control unit. Idle recognition is required to control deceleration fuel injection shutoff and cold engine idle enrichment. Full load recognition is required to control full load enrichment and full load correction.
