System Tests: Notes
CAUTION:
To avoid damaging control modules all electrical testing should be done with a DVOM. DO NOT use an analog meter or test light to check control module circuits.
NOTE:
Ensure central locking system is operating properly before performing any testing on the keyless entry system.
After verifying problem using SYMPTOM INDEX under TROUBLE SHOOTING, perform appropriate test step(s). For aid in using diagnostic charts, see USING DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS .
