Test 19: Right Rear Window Switch Closing Function Circuit

Using Adapter (202 589 03 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to convenience control module. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Ensure rear window safety switch is off. Measure voltage between terminals No. 33 and 35 at breakout box. When either right rear window switch is in rest position, battery voltage should exist. When either right rear window switch is in CLOSE position, less than one volt should exist. If voltage is as specified and right rear window does not close, check the following and repair as necessary:

• Check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
• Perform TEST 20  .
• Replace convenience control module.

If voltage is not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If wiring is okay, replace appropriate right rear window switch.
