Test 8: Sun Roof Slide Open Function Circuit

Using Adapter (202 589 03 63 00), connect Breakout Box (129 589 00 21 00) to convenience control module. See Figure . Disconnect connector "C" from convenience control module, leaving convenience control module harness connector "C" attached to breakout box. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between terminals No. 14 and 16 at breakout box. When sun roof switch is in rest position, less than one volt should exist. When sun roof switch is in open position, battery voltage should exist. If voltage is not as specified, replace sun roof switch. If voltage is as specified, check wiring and sun roof relay. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If wiring and relay are okay, replace sun roof motor.
