Diagnostic Module Pressure Sensor

The diagnostic module pressure sensor is located in left rear corner of engine compartment. See Figure . The diagnostic module pressure sensor senses intake manifold absolute pressure. The diagnostic module pressure sensor converts pressure value to a voltage signal and sends it to the diagnostic module.

The diagnostic module pressure sensor is located on left wheelhousing in engine compartment. The diagnostic module pressure sensor converts pressure value to a voltage signal and sends it to the diagnostic module. Pressure changes are recognized very quickly (approximately 5 milliseconds). The diagnostic module pressure sensor measures either intake manifold pressure or if the purge-flow switchover valve is activated, pressure in the line between the charcoal canister and purge control valve is measured.
