Computerized Engine Controls (LH-SFI System): Notes

NOTE: With ignition on, do not actuate throttle from throttle linkage in engine compartment. This will cause a malfunction to be stored in LH control unit and electronic accelerator control unit (with ASR) or cruise control/idle speed control unit (without ASR). Electronic accelerator actuator or cruise control/idle speed control actuator will operate in limp-home mode.

The Hot Wire Sequential Fuel Injection (LH-SFI) system consists of ABS/ASR control module, air injection pump switchover valve, adjustable camshaft timing solenoid, air injection pump electromagnetic clutch, camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, cruise control/idle speed control actuator (without ASR), cruise control/idle speed control module (without ASR), diagnostic module (California only), EGR switchover valve, electronic accelerator actuator (with ASR), electronic accelerator control module (with ASR), engine coolant temperature sensor, EZL/AKR ignition control unit, fuel injectors, fuel pump relay, heated oxygen sensor, hot wire air mass sensor, ignition coil, intake air temperature sensor, knock sensors, purge switchover valve, and upshift delay switchover valve.
