EGR Temperature Sensor

EGR temperature sensor is used only on California models. Sensor determines temperature of exhaust gas at EGR valve and sends information to CIS-E control unit. Information is used to determine quantity of exhaust gas permitted to recirculate.

Intake Air Temperature Sensor - Sensor measures temperature of intake air and sends information to CIS-E control unit for use in mixture and ignition control.
