Deceleration Control

When decelerating and transmission is in higher gears, throttle position switch is closed and manifold vacuum is high. CIS-E control unit senses a coasting deceleration mode and fuel cut-off solenoid is activated to cut fuel flow to injectors. Fuel flow returns to injectors when transmission downshifts into lower gears and RPM switch signals CIS-E control unit to resume fuel injection.
