Lambda Fuel Control System

Lambda control is integrated within CIS-E control unit and controls differential pressure regulator. Lambda control starts only after start valve enrichment is canceled. Lambda control is inoperative under the following conditions:

*  Oxygen sensor malfunction or sensor not yet fully heated.

*  Deceleration (fuel is shut off).

*  Full engine load.

*  Acceleration (fuel enrichment).

*  Coolant temperatures less than 105°F (40°C).
