The catalytic converter maintenance reminder lamp, located on the instrument panel, will come ON at 37,500 miles, indicating that the catalytic converter should be serviced. A mileage switch is installed behind the instrument panel and is driven by the speedometer cable. After the necessary service is completed, the depress button marked CAT on mileage switch to reset lamp, Fig. 1.
