Disconnect Brown/Purple vacuum line from thermo/vacuum valve. Start engine and accelerate briefly. Vacuum valve should be present at open connection of thermo/vacuum valve. If not, carburetor vacuum port is not blocked, replace thermo/vacuum valve.
