1977-79 All Other Models

Run engine at idle speed. Disconnect both vacuum lines from EGR valve. Connect Brown vacuum line to connection of Red/Purple vacuum line on EGR valve. Engine should run rough or stall. If engine does not run rough or stall, replace EGR valve.
