Visual inspection
NOTE:
- Perform the procedure with the electronically controlled brake unit removed. (See ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D.] ).
- Visually inspect the electronically controlled brake unit for damage and the connectors for damage or corrosion.
- There is damage or corrosion
- Repair or replace the malfunctioning location. (See ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L.H.D.] ).
- There is damage or corrosion
- No damage or corrosion
- The electronically controlled brake unit is normal, therefore the inspection is completed.
