Headlight Leveling Actuator Inspection: Notes
NOTE:
- The headlight leveling actuator is integrated with the front combination light.
- Perform the headlight auto leveling system actuator inspection using the headlight leveling actuator operation check mode. (See HEADLIGHT LEVELING ACTUATOR OPERATION CHECK MODE [ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS) CONTROL MODULE] .)
- To replace the headlight leveling actuator, replace the front combination light. (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the front bumper. (See FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL .) (See FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION .)
- Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Verify that the voltages of each of the terminals are as indicated in the terminal voltage table.
- If the voltage is not as indicated in the table, inspect the parts under Inspection item(s).
- If the system does not work normally even though the parts under Inspection item(s) or related wiring harnesses do not have any malfunction, replace the front combination light. (See FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- If the voltage is not as indicated in the table, inspect the parts under Inspection item(s).
