Power Seat Switch Removal/Installation (Us)
WARNING:
- Handling a seat equipped with a side air bag improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag, which may seriously injure you. Read the service warnings/cautions in the service information before handling a front seat equipped with a side air bag. CAUTION:
- When performing the procedure with a front seat removed from the vehicle, perform the procedure on a clean cloth so as not to damage or soil the seat.
- Remove the front seat belt lower anchor. (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Switch the ignition off.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal and wait for 1 min or more. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the front seat side cover. (See FRONT SEAT SIDE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
- Remove the screw.
- Remove the power seat switch in the direction of the arrows shown in the figure.
- Disconnect the connectors.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
