Dust Filter Inspection

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Passenger-side scuff plate (See SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passengerside front side trim (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side A-pillar trim (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Passenger-side lower panel (See PASSENGER-SIDE LOWER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Dust filter (See DUST FILTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify the dust filter for any foreign matter.
- If there is any malfunction, repair the dust filter.
