System Inspection

- Verify that the engine starts when the selector lever is in the P or N position only.
- Verify that the back-up light illuminates when the selector lever is in the R position.
- Verify that the displays for the shifted position and shift position indicator light are the same when the selector lever is shifted to each position.
- If there is any malfunction, adjust the TR switch. (See TRANSAXLE RANGE (TR) SWITCH ADJUSTMENT .)
