DTC P0222:00: Notes

DTC P0222:00	TP sensor No.2 circuit low input
DETECTION CONDITION	If the PCM detects TP sensor No.2 voltage is to be below 0.2 V after switch the ignition to ON, the PCM determines that TP circuit has a malfunction. Diagnostic support note This is a continuous monitor (CCM). The MIL illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition in the first drive cycle. FREEZE FRAME DATA (Mode 2)/Snapshot data is available. The DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
POSSIBLE CAUSE	Throttle body connector or terminal malfunction Short to ground in wiring harness between throttle body terminal B and PCM terminal 2AO Short to ground in wiring harness between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AL PCM connector or terminal malfunction Open circuit in wiring harness between throttle body terminal B and PCM terminal 2AO Open circuit in wiring harness between throttle body terminal C and PCM terminal 2AL TP sensor No.2 malfunction PCM malfunction
