Rear Combination Light Removal/Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2009 Mazda 6. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the trunk end trim. (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Partially peel back the trunk side trim. (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Disconnect the connectors shown in the figure and remove the nuts.

  5. Pull the rear combination light in the direction of the arrow to detach it from the tab.

  7. Remove the rear combination light.
  8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
