July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Fuel Line Safety Procedure

  1. Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5] ).
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5] ).
  3. Remove the fuel-filler cap to release the pressure inside the fuel tank.
  4. Remove the fuel pump relay.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5] ).
  6. Start the engine.
  7. After the engine stalls, crank the engine 2-3 times.
  8. Switch the ignition to off.
  9. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5] ).
  10. Install the fuel pump relay.
