Ignition Switch Inspection
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the column cover. (See
COLUMN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
.)
- Remove the ignition switch. (See
IGNITION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Verify that the continuity between the ignition switch terminals is as indicated in the figure.
- If not as indicated in the figure, replace the ignition switch.
