Yes | Perform repair or diagnosis according to available repair information.

| 2 | INSPECT CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH CONNECTOR FOR POOR CONNECTION
|
Yes | Repair or replace the terminal, then go to Step 7. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 3 | INSPECT CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO BODY GROUND

Yes | If the short to ground circuit could be detected:
If the short to ground circuit could not be detected:
Then go to Step 7. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 4 | INSPECT CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH OPERATION

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Replace the cruise control switch, then go to Step 7. | ||
| 5 | INSPECT PCM TERMINAL

Yes | Repair the terminal, then go to Step 7. |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 6 | INSPECT CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR SHORT TO POWER

Yes | Go to the next step. |
| No | Repair or replace short to power supply, then go to the next step. | ||
| 7 | VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF P0564 COMPLETED

Yes | Replace the PCM, then go to the next step. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) |
| No | Go to the next step. | ||
| 8 | VERIFY AFTER REPAIR PROCEDURE

Yes | Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE .) |
