Select Cable Installation Note

Make sure that the shift lever (transaxle side) is in neutral.
Push the safety lock, then unlock the lock piece of the select cable in the order shown in the figure.
Shift the sift lever to neutral.

Lock the lock piece of the selector cable in the figure.
Shift the shift lever from neutral to other position, and make sure that there are no other components in that area to interfere with the lever.
- If the shift lever cannot be shifted from neutral to other positions, or if other parts interfere with the shift lever, the selector cable may not be adjusted correctly.
  It this happens, readjust selector cable from Step 1.
