July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal (B2300)

  1. Remove the accelerator control splash shield. See Figure.
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube. See AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE .
  3. Disconnect accelerator cable and cruise control cable (if equipped) from the throttle linkage (1). See Fig 1.
  4. Disconnect accelerator cable and cruise control cable (if equipped) from the mounting bracket (2). See Fig 1.
  5. Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor. See Figure.
  6. Disconnect the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor harness connector. See Fig 2.
  7. Disconnect the vacuum hose and the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve harness connector. See Fig 3.
  8. Disconnect the engine vacuum harness, brake booster hose and the crankcase breather hose. See Fig 4.
  9. Disconnect the engine wiring harness and position it out of the way. See Fig 5.
  10. Remove the electric EGR tube bracket bolt. See Fig 6.
  11. Disconnect the swirl control valve harness connector. See Fig 7.
  12. Disconnect the swirl control valve monitor harness connector. See Fig 8.
  13. Disconnect the fuel line from the clip. See Fig 9.
  14. Remove the bolts from the EGR tube flange. See Fig 10.
  15. Detach the 42-pin harness connector from the bracket and disconnect the intake vacuum hose. See Fig 11.
  16. Disconnect the engine Knock Sensor (KS) harness connector and disconnect the connector from the intake manifold. See Fig 12.
  17. Remove the wiring harness push-pin from the bottom of the intake manifold.
  18. Disconnect the fuel manifold vacuum hose. See Fig 13.
  19. Remove the 5 bolts and the intake manifold. See Fig 14.
