Removal (Tribute)

Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. Lift left rear seat cushion. Remove carpet retainers, and position carpet aside. Remove fuel pump access cover screws and access cover. Disconnect harness connector. Disconnect fuel and vapor lines from fuel tank. Using Fuel Sender Wrench (310-069), remove lock ring and fuel pump module. See Figure.
