With Automatic Transaxle




Inspection
1. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals A and B by using an ohmmeter.

Specification: 52-580 Ohms 20°C (68°F)

3. If not as specified, replace the crankshaft position sensor.




4. Measure the air gap between the crankshaft pulley projection and the crankshaft position sensor by using a feeler gauge.

Specification: 0.5-1.5 mm (0.020-0.059 in.)

5. If not as specified, adjust the air gap.

Adjustment
1. Loosen bolt (A).




2. Adjust the air gap between the crankshaft pulley projection and the crankshaft position sensor by using a feeler gauge.

Specification: 0.5-1.5 mm (0.020-0.059 in.)

3. If not adjusted, replace the bracket and readjusted the air gap.
4. If not adjusted, replace the crankshaft pulley or the crankshaft position sensor.
