Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. With ignition switch in Off position, install manifold gauge set.
2. High pressure reading should be above 33 psi. If not, inspect refrigerant system. If correct, go to next step.
3. Disconnect pressure switch connector and check for continuity, continuity should exist between terminals. If not, replace switch.
