Electric Fan Control System




Inspection
1. Connect data link connector terminals TEN and GND by using a jumper wire.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the throttle lever by hand and turn the closed throttle position switch off. Verify that the coolant fan operates.
4. Disconnect the jumper wire.
5. If the coolant fan does not operate, check the following.
^ Closed throttle position signal
Throttle position signal
^ Coolant fan relay and related wiring harnesses and connectors.
^ Wiring harness and connector between data link connector terminal TEN and PCM.
