With 0.3 mm (0.012 in) gap Continuity
With 0.4 mm (0.016 in) gap NO Continuity

Variable resistor
Tested at the ECM terminal 2M
Fully closed 0.1-1.1 Volts
Fully open 3.1-4.5 Volts
