Erasing Trouble Codes

NOTE: Trouble codes cannot be erased if intervals between depressing brake pedal exceed one second and/or stoplight bulb or switch is faulty.

Using a jumper wire, connect terminals TBS and GND of diagnosis connector. See Figure . Turn ignition on. ABS warning light will flash all stored trouble codes. After verifying that the first trouble code is repeated, depress brake pedal 10 times at intervals of less than one-second. After trouble codes are canceled, ABS control unit will perform self-diagnosis.
