Ignition Timing

With engine at normal operating temperature, set transmission in "D" (Auto. Trans.) or Neutral (Man. Trans.).
Unplug wiring connector to engine cooling fan (if equipped). Be sure idle speed is set to specifications. Connect timing light and set timing as required.
