Inspection and Verification

  1. Verify the correct programing procedure was used. Refer to Universal Transmitter Programming  . If necessary, contact the Lear Car2U® Customer Service Center at 866-572-2728, or the customer support website at www.learcar2u.com.
  2. Verify the customer concern.
  3. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
    VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

    Mechanical Electrical
    • Universal transmitter
    • Receiver unit
    • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  4. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
  5. If the fault is not visually evident, verify the symptom and GO to Symptom Chart.
