Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION1. Remove throttle body.
2. Remove rubber boot covering from Throttle Position (TP) sensor.
3. Remove two TP sensor retaining screws from throttle body.
4. Remove TP sensor.
5. To install, reverse Removal procedure. Tighten retaining screws to 2.8-3.8 Nm (25-34 lb in). Cycle throttle lever to Wide Open Throttle (WOT). It should return without interference.
