Power Reclining Seats

The in-line circuit breaker is hot at all times and applies voltage to the seat control switches. Each seat control switch contains a power recliner switch. The power recliner switches control current flow direction through the recliner motors. Moving the recliner switch forward causes the recliner motor to turn in the direction necessary to move the back of the seat forward. Moving the recliner switch rearward causes the recliner motor to turn in the opposite direction, and the back of the seat reclines.
