Injection Pump Operating Lever
- Measure and note the distance "A". See Fig 1 . Position the operating rod against the full load stop. Measure and note the distance "B".
- Subtract distance "B" from distance "A" to get measurement "Y". To find distance "C", compare value of "Y" in table.INJECTION PUMP OPERATING LEVER ADJUSTMENT (1)

See Fig 2 . If necessary, adjust the distance.
- Position injection pump linkage to idle position and check for distance "X". The correct distance is fixed at 2.68" (68 mm). See Fig 3 .
- Check the WOT adjustment. If the adjustment is correct, place operating lever in the WOT position and check distance "Z". See Fig 4 . If distance "Z" is not .94-1.34" (28.5-29.5 mm), repeat steps 1) and 2). Check and correct throttle cable adjustment, if necessary.
