Air Charge Temperature (ACT) Sensor

The ACT monitors and signals ECA of air/fuel charge temperatures. It is either threaded into intake manifold air runner below accelerator linkage or mounted on air cleaner. ACT sensor input is used by ECA as density corrector for air flow calculations and to proportion the cold enrichment fuel flow.
